PABLO : Storm Clouds and Blue Sky

A black sweater for the cold early morning. Pablo wakes me. It took an hour and hour before I got back to  sleep.

I remember typhoon Sendong last December 2011 and now, the Typhoon Pablo (international name: Bopha), the 16th storm to hit the country this year.

Around 7 am, I looked outside, dark clouds, strong winds and rainfall continues plus no electricity.

At 4pm, a friendly wind came up and blew the clouds away. The storms of life blow in and out like that.
By faith we cling to God’s promise of Romans 8:28. And we recall that “our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal light of glory” (2 Cor 4:17). God loves us, He’s getting us ready for the day when skies will be forever blue. It was 7 in the evening when the light’s back. We thank you Lord. The day after the strom, it always seemed like people were a little bit ready, alittle bit braver, a little bit stronger, a little bit more appreciative of family , of friends and of LIFE. Not even the strongest typhoon could drown our faith, our hope. The world outside may be in complete disarray, but there is a plave inside of me that no supertyphoons can ever tear down. Typhoons come and go. Sometimes, they leave nothing. Sometimes, they leave us with nothing. But through all these, life goes on.
Life always go on. We thank you Lord.

To God be the Glory
